Al Murray

I’ve played the drums since I was a kid, and although I’ve ended up doing something quite different, drums and drumming have been a lifelong passion of mine. Something I’ve always known about drummers is they like how their gear looks – I’m no exception, my first kit was orange – and when I joined a new band last year I realised I wanted to give my kit a makeover.
It seemed like something you couldn’t do until I ran into Chris Newell who offered to pimp my drum-kit. We were so pleased with the results we decided everyone else should have the option!
